Making Cents of Math (MCM) is a student-led initiative that provides free financial literacy workshops to middle school students (grades 6-9). We connect classroom math concepts to real-world financial decisions like managing money, understanding interest, and making smart financial choices.
Where and how are MCM workshops conducted?
Our workshops are conducted directly at middle schools across our community. We bring all materials and facilitators to your school, making it easy for students to participate. What topics do you cover in your workshops?
We cover essential financial literacy topics including bank accounts, interest and credit, budgeting basics, debt management, investments, and financial safety.
